Hideki Goto ~ born January 4th, 1970 in Utsunomiya Tochigi, Japan.
He began as an Apprentice Chef at Ginza Taiya Hirameya, Ginza Tokyo.
Studied & learned Japanese Authentic Cuisine (Kaiseki style)
at Hotel Green Hill, Motegi Tochigi.
Worked as Head Chef at Sushi Bar Rashai, Annandale, Sydney.
Began establishing restaurants as follows
2007 ~ “Zenya Noodle Bar” Eastwood, Sydney
2008 ~ “Manmaruya” Campsie, Sydney
2010 ~ “Manmaruya” Hurstville, Sydney
2011 ~ “Manmaruya” Ashfield, Sydney
2013 ~ “Manmaruya” Beverly Hills, Sydney
Hideki’s childhood was mostly spent watching his mother operate child care centres
in Japan where she took care in nutrition and the well being of children’s meals daily.
His mother, Setsuko Goto has over 30 years of experience in nutrition & Japanese cuisine
and her influence is what has made Hideki choose his future path as Chef.
